Lin Cortés, born Luis Cortés Moreno in Andújar (Jaén) in 1976 and living in Córdoba, is one of the great references of the new flamenco and an undisputed master of the fusion of styles. Son and grandson of artists and nephew of the famous singer El Pele, Lin grew up surrounded by art and began his musical career at a very young age, developing his own style that mixes flamenco with funk, soul, rock, Brazilian music and urban sounds.

His first solo album, Gipsy Evolution, marked a before and after in the Spanish music scene, with collaborations from figures such as Estrella Morente, Vicente Amigo, Raimundo Amador, Alba Molina and El Pele himself. This work was critically acclaimed for its freshness and its ability to break barriers between genres. Live, Lin Cortés stands out for the energy and spontaneity of his performances, where he usually surrounds himself with first-class musicians and surprises with special guests.

In 2019 he published Indomable, an album that reinforces her personal label of fusion and evolution, with collaborations from artists such as Dellafuente, Antonio Carmona, Nita (Fuel Fandango), Camila Fernández, La Shica, Lya, Diego del Morao and Odille Lima. In addition to his role as a performer, Lin is a renowned composer and producer, having worked on hits such as “Aserejé” by Las Ketchup and collaborated with artists such as Enrique Morente, Rosalía, Kiko Veneno, Rosario Flores, Howe Gelb and Buddy Miles, drums for Jimi Hendrix.

Renowned for his ability to reinvent flamenco and open it up to new influences, Lin Cortés is considered one of the most respected and innovative artists on the national and international scene.
