Biographical Summary

Born in 1981 in the neighborhood of Pan Bendito, Madrid, Enrique Bermúdez “Piculabe” began singing at the age of 7, surrounded by a family with a musical tradition: his father was part of the group “Roots Gitanas”. From a young age, Piculabe moved between the gypsy cult and the tablao, and was sponsored by artists such as El Negri and Paquete, who helped him take his first professional steps. His first album, “Camino y Tiempo”, came after a period of learning tablaos and collaborations with figures such as Tomatito and Jorge Pardo. He has recorded with Universal Music and has had the support of leading producers, establishing himself as one of the most personal voices in flamenco today.
